About This Guide

This guide provides information about integrating the SDX 4.1.x application with directory server and RADIUS AAA solutions.

You can integrate the following RADIUS AAA products with SDX 4.1.x:

• Steel-Belted RADIUS/Service Provider Edition, version 4.0, a product of Funk Software, Inc.
• RAD-Series AAA RADIUS Server, version 6.0, a product of Interlink Networks, Inc.
• Merit AAA 4.22E

Note: On June 14, 2000, the University of Michigan on behalf of Merit Network, Inc. licensed the Merit AAA Server technology to a new spin-off company named Interlink Networks, Inc.

Note: The Merit AAA 4.22E product is provided with the SDX software; all others are third-party products. Juniper Networks recommends that the Merit AAA 4.22E RADIUS solution be used for trial purposes only.

You can integrate the following directory server products with SDX 4.1.x:

• Sun ONE Directory Server, version 5.1, a product of Sun Microsystems, Inc.
• DirX Directory Server, version 6.0, a Siemens product (part of Siemens DirX Solutions)

The SDX-300 software is the current implementation of the Service Deployment System software. We refer to the product throughout the documentation simply as the SDX software.
