Importing Group Information

NOTE: You can only import a group that you have exported from another JUNOScope server. You cannot import a group using a modified export-import-sample.xml file. For more information about exporting group setup data, see Exporting Group Information.

Importing group information is useful when you don't want to enter setup information manually.

To import group information, follow these steps:

1. In the JUNOScope main window, click Settings > Groups. The Groups dialog box appears.
2. Click Import. The Import Groups dialog box appears.
3. In the File text box, either browse to or type the name of the XML file that you want to import. For example, you can import the default groups.xml file exported from another JUNOScope server.
   

   NOTE: The junoscope- XML file prefix is not generated if you use the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Web browser to export JUNOScope setup data. You will only see the groups filename.

   
   
4. Click Import. The imported data appears in the Groups dialog box.
