latch-deadlock-duration

Syntax

latch-deadlock-duration seconds;

Hierarchy Level

[edit services pgcp gateway gateway-name]

Release Information

Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.2.

Description

Configure a timer that begins after the PG requests a latch from the remote source. If the PG does not receive a latch event before this time expires, it takes the gate out of service and drops all packets for the gate. It then notifies the PGC using error code 910 in a ServiceChange message. You cannot use the latch deadlock duration along with the media inactivity timeout.

Options

seconds—Number of seconds within which the PG waits for a response to a latch request. Zero (0) turns off the timer.

Range: 0 through 86,400
Default: 0
