Configuring Latching Deadlock Reporting

You cannot use the latching deadlock reporting with the media inactivity duration.

Step-by-Step Procedure

To configure latching deadlock reporting:

1. Access the configuration of your VPG
   [edit services pgcp]
   user@host#edit gateway vpg-1
2. Configure the timer that begins after the PG requests a latch from the remote source. If the PG does not receive a latch event before this time expires, it notifies the PGC using error code 910 (Media Capability Failure) in a ServiceChange message. The PG then disables the affected termination, but does not subtract the termination..
