3 statistics based on the Q.931 standard for the specified Basic Rate
Interface (BRI) interface.

Type of message:
-
ALERTING—Number of messages indicating
that called user alerting is initiated.

CALL PROCEED—Number of messages indicating
that requested call establishment has been initiated and no more call
establishment information is accepted.

CONNECT—Number of messages indicating that
a call has gone through and is accepted.
-
CONNECT ACK—Number of messages sent by
the network to the called user to indicate that the user is awarded
the call.
-
PROGRESS—Number of messages indicating
the progress of a call in relation to the provision of inband information
or patterns.

SETUP—Number of requests to initiate call
establishment.
-
SETUP ACK—Number of messages indicating
that call establishment is initiated but additional information might
be required.
-
DISCONNECT—Number of messages sent by the
user to request clearing an end-to-end connection.
-
RELEASE—Number of messages sent by the
network to indicate that the equipment sending the message has disconnected
the channel and intends to release the channel and call reference.
-
RELEASE COMPLETE—Number of messages sent
by the user or network to indicate that the equipment sending the
message has released the channel and call reference, and that the
channel is available for reuse.

RESTART—Number of messages that restart
a call connection.
-
RESTART ACK—Number of messages that acknowledge
the restart request by the remote network.
-
INFORMATION—Number of messages that provide
information for call establishment or miscellaneous call-related information.
-
NOTIFY—Number of messages that contain
information pertaining to a call.
-
STATUS—Number of messages sent in response
to a status enquiry message or at any time during a call to report
certain error conditions.

STATUS ENQUIRY—Number of messages sent
to solicit a status message from the peer Layer 3 entity.
