For a scheduler that you associate with a fabric priority, you cannot include the buffer-size, transmit-rate, or priority statements at the [edit class-of-service schedulers scheduler-name] hierarchy level.

The two hierarchy levels are mutually exclusive. To configure up to eight forwarding classes with one-to-one mapping between forwarding classes and output queues, include this statement at the [edit class-of-service forwarding-classes queue queue-numberclass-name] hierarchy level. To configure up to 16 forwarding classes with multiple forwarding classes mapped to single queues, include this statement at the [edit class-of-service forwarding-classes class class-name queue-num queue-number] hierarchy level.
