show interfaces mac-database (Gigabit Ethernet)
Syntax
show interfaces mac-database (ge-fpc/pic/port| ge-fpc/pic/port.n)<mac-addressmac-address>Release Information
Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.
Description
(M-series and T-series routing platforms only) Display media access control (MAC) address information for the specified Gigabit Ethernet interface. (You can include wildcard characters in the interface name to display more than one Gigabit Ethernet interface. See Interface Types.)
Options
ge-fpc/pic/port—Display MAC addresses that have been learned on all logical interfaces on a particular physical interface.
ge-fpc/pic/port.n—Display MAC addresses that have been learned on a particular logical interface.
mac-addressmac-address—(Optional) Display detailed MAC address statistics, including policer information.Required Privilege Level

Table 29 lists the output fields for the
show interfaces mac-databasecommand. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.
State of the physical interface. Possible values are described in Enabled Field.
Physical interface index number, which reflects its initialization sequence.
Whether loopback is enabled and the type of loopback:
localorremote.Information about the physical device. Possible values are described in Device Flags.
Information about the interface. Possible values are described in Interface Flags.
Information about the link. Possible values are described in Link Flags.
Logical interface index number, which reflects its initialization sequence.
Information about the logical interface (possible values are described in Logical Interface Flags).
MAC address, Input frames, Input bytes, Output frames, Output bytesMAC address and corresponding number of input frames, input bytes, output frames, and output bytes.
(Displayed for
mac-addressoption only) Display information about policers applied to a logical interface-MAC pair.
Policer type—Type of policer that is out of spec with respect to the configuration. It can be one or more of the following:
