FIPS Operational Mode Commands

Table 11 summarizes the command-line interface (CLI) commands you can use to monitor and troubleshoot Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Physical Interface Cards (PICs).

Authorize an AS II FIPS PIC in a router running FIPS mode.

request services fips authorize pic

Zeroize an AS II FIPS PIC in a router running FIPS mode.

request services fips zeroize pic

Zeroize routing engines.

request system zeroize

Display the status of all installed AS II FIPS PICs in a router running FIPS mode.

show services fips pic status
