Chassis Operational Mode Commands

From the command-line interface (CLI), you can display information about chassis components using the commands in the show chassis hierarchy. These commands get their information from the chassis software process, which runs when the router is up and running.

Table 12 summarizes the CLI commands you can use to monitor router chassis. In the table, the commands are grouped by functionality. In the remainder of this chapter, they are explained alphabetically.

NOTE: CLI commands and options that apply only to a routing matrix are labeled routing matrix or routing matrix only. A routing matrix consists of a TX Matrix platform and connected T640 routing nodes. In the CLI, scc (switch-card chassis) refers to the TX Matrix platform and lcc (line-card chassis) refers to the connected T640 routing nodes.
