Protocol-Independent Routing
Operational Mode Commands

Table 17 summarizes the command-line interface (CLI) commands you can use to monitor and troubleshoot protocol-independent routing properties. In the table, the commands are grouped by functionality. In the remainder of this chapter, they are explained alphabetically.

NOTE: In Table 17, the variants of the show route commands listed in the category "Routing Table Information" are all filters that select the specific information displayed from the routing tables. The other show route commands (specifically, show route forwarding-table and show route martians) are independent commands and cannot be used in conjunction with any of the filter options.
