Layer 2 Circuit, Layer 2 VPN, and VPLS Operational Mode Commands

Table 53 summarizes the command-line interface (CLI) commands you can use to monitor Layer 2 circuits, Layer 2 virtual private networks (VPNs), and virtual private LAN service (VPLS) instances. In the table, the commands are grouped by functionality. In the remainder of this chapter, they are explained alphabetically.

Some of the routing table and protocol-related commands, such as show bgp neighbor, have been condensed and grouped to specifically address Layer 2 circuits, Layer 2 VPNs, and VPLS, with references to the complete command elsewhere in this book.
