Enable or Disable SNMP Notifications on Logical Interfaces

By default, SNMP notifications are sent when the state of an interface or a connection changes. To explicitly enable these notifications on the logical interface, include the traps statement; to disable these notifications on the logical interface, include the no-traps statement:

(traps | no-traps); 

You can configure these statements at the following hierarchy levels:
