Disable the Sending of Asynchronous Notification Upon Link Failure

For PPP- and Cisco HDLC-encapsulated serial interfaces on T-series platforms only, you can disallow sending of asynchronous notification upon link failure. To do this, include the no-asynchronous-notification statement:

no-asynchronous-notification;

You can configure this statement at the following hierarchy levels:

• [edit interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit-number family (ccc | tcc)]
• [edit logical-routers logical-router-name interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit-number family (ccc | tcc)]
