Specify the Route Metric

You can specify up to four metric values, starting with metric (for the first metric value) and continuing with metric2, metric3, and metric4 by including one or more of the following statements at the [edit routing-options aggregate (defaults | route)] hierarchy level (for routing instances, include the options at the [edit routing-instances routing-instance-name routing-options aggregate (defaults | route)] hierarchy level):

[edit routing-options aggregate (defaults | route)] 

(metric | metric2 | metric3 | metric4) metric <type type>; 

In the type option, you can specify the type of route.
