Chassis Monitoring and Troubleshooting

From the command-line interface (CLI), you can display information about chassis components using the commands in the show chassis hierarchy. These commands get their information from the chassis software process, which runs when the router is up and running.

Table 10 summarizes the CLI commands you can use to monitor router chassis. In the table, the commands are grouped by functionality. In the remainder of this chapter, they are explained alphabetically.
