Syntax

flow-control;

Hierarchy Level

[edit interfaces interface-name aggregated-ether-options],
[edit interfaces interface-name fastether-options],
[edit interfaces interface-name gigether-options]

Description

For aggregated Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces only, explicitly enable flow control, which regulates the flow of packets from the router to the remote side of the connection. Enabling flow control is useful when the remote device is a Gigabit Ethernet switch.

Default

Flow control is the default behavior.
