Syntax

virtual-address [addresses];

Hierarchy Level

[edit interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit-number family inet address address vrrp-group group-number]

Description

When you are configuring VRRP on Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces only, configure the addresses of the virtual routers in a VRRP group. You can configure up to eight addresses.

Options

addresses—Addresses of one or more virtual routers. Do not include a prefix length. If the address is the same as the interface's physical address, the interface becomes the master virtual router for the group.
