Syntax

passive-monitor-mode;

Hierarchy Level

[edit interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit-number]

Description

For SONET interfaces only, monitor packet flows from another router. If you include this statement in the configuration, the SONET interface does not send keepalives or alarms, and does not participate actively on the network.
