Syntax

no-redirects;

Hierarchy Level

[edit interfaces interface-name unit number family family]

Description

Do not send protocol redirect messages on the interface.

To disable the sending of protocol redirect messages for the entire router, include the no-redirects statement at the [edit system] hierarchy level.

Default

Interfaces send protocol redirect messages.
