SNMPD System Log Messages

This chapter describes messages generated by the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent process (snmpd), which responds to SNMP requests. As necessary, it passes the requests to subagent processes running on its machine and forwards the traps they generate to the SNMP manager.
