next-hop

Syntax

next-hop (address | interface-name | address /interface-name);

Hierarchy Level

[edit protocols mpls interface interface-name label-map in-label ],
[edit protocols mpls static-path inet address ]

Description

IP address of the next-hop to the destination, specified as the IP address of the next-hop, the interface name (for point-to-point interfaces only), and the address/interface-name to specify an IP address on an operational interface.

Options

address—IP address of the next-hop router.

interface-name—IP address of the outgoing interface. It must be a point-to point interface. The name can be a simple or fully qualified domain name.
