Syntax

helper-disable ;

Hierarchy Level

[edit protocols ldp graceful-restart ]

Description

Disables helper mode for LDP graceful restart. When helper mode is disabled, a router cannot help a neighboring router that is attempting to restart LDP.

Default

Helper mode is enabled by default on all routing protocols (including LDP) that support graceful restart.
