Release Information

Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of JUNOS Software.

Description

Configure an FXS, FXO, or SIP trunk.

For FXS and FXO trunks including the type and name of the TDM interface to be used for it. Trunks are used by the media gateway and the survivable call server to access the local PSTN. Trunks are added to trunk groups, which, in turn, are used within the route patterns of a dial plan. The media gateway dial plan and the survivable call server dial plan can refer to and use the same trunks. You can define trunks for FXO and FXS TDM interfaces.

Options

The remaining statements are explained separately.
