Before You Begin

Before you begin configuring an OSPF network, complete the following tasks:

• Establish basic connectivity. See the JUNOS Software with Enhanced Services J-series Services Router Getting Started Guide.
• Configure network interfaces. See Configuring Ethernet, DS1, DS3, and Serial Interfaces.
• Configure security filters. See the JUNOS Software with Enhanced Services Security Configuration Guide.
