Installing Software
Upgrades by Uploading Files
You can use the J-Web interface to install software packages uploaded
from your computer to the Services Router. Before installing the software
upgrade, you need to verify that there is enough available space on
the compact flash.

Note:
This procedure applies only to upgrading one release of JUNOS
software with enhanced services to another. To upgrade from the JUNOS
software to JUNOS software with enhanced services, see the JUNOS Software with Enhanced Services Migration Guide.

Figure 23 shows the Upload Package page for
the router.

To install software upgrades by uploading files:
- Before installing the software upgrade, verify
the available space on the compact flash. For information about verifying
available compact flash space, see the JUNOS Software with Enhanced Services Release Notes.
- Download the software package as described in Downloading Software Upgrades from Juniper Networks.
- In the J-Web interface, select Manage>Software>Upload
Package.
- On the Upload Package page, enter information into
the fields described in Table 137.
- Click Upload Package. The
software is activated after the router has rebooted.
