Before You Begin

Before you begin configuring RPM, complete the following tasks:

• Establish basic connectivity. See the JUNOS Enhanced Services J-series Services Router Getting Started Guide.
• Configure network interfaces. See the JUNOS Enhanced Services Interfaces and Routing Configuration Guide.
• Configure SNMP. See Configuring SNMP for Network Management.
