Resolved Known Problems
Release 7.0.4 is based on the 7-0-3p0-7 patch release and incorporates all problem resolutions found in that release. For information about resolved problems in a patch release, customers with valid service agreements may log in to the JUNOSe Download Software page on the Customer Support Center Web site at https://www.juniper.net/support/csc/swdist-erx/. Select the Patch Release History for the JUNOSe release you are interested in.
The following problems were reported open in Release 7.0.3 and have been resolved in this release, or have been resolved since the 7-0-3p0-7 release. ATM
BGP
- BGP should not install a vrfInternal route to 0.0.0.0/32 if a default route is leaked into a VRF. [Defect ID 77227]

- RADIUS authentication for VTY lines doesn't work. [Defect ID 76873]
- Telnet server behaves differently between 6-0-3 and 6-0-5. [Defect ID 79085]
Connection Manager
- SRP-40G+module resets with panic; task: dprofColl; file: MmcDriverUtil.cc. [Defect ID 74658]
- Large amount of CPU cycle spends on processing incoming TTL=1 traceroute packet which cannot be stopped by existing policy. [Defect ID 66569]

DHCP Server
- In an S-Vlan configuration the show ip dhcp-local binding command only displays inner VLAN ID. [Defect ID 78968]
- The output of show subscribers only displays the Outer VLAN ID but not the Inner for DHCP clients. [Defect ID 79078]

- Egress forwarding rates for QOS shaped interfaces may be inaccurate under certain conditions. [Defect ID 75701]
- SA Validation is not effective for destinations 224.0.0.x. [Defect ID 75622]
- The show egress-queue rates output for LAC interfaces depends on the configured shaping mode. [Defect ID 78850]
Hardware
- ATM/GE line module Hardware 2xOC3-ATM/GE Hybrid card will stop transmitting ATM cells. [Defect ID 75241]
- Forwarding problems when qos-byte-adjust is enabled. [Defect ID 77041]
- SRP console prints out Out of Buffers.... message when attempt copy a core dump to host. [Defect ID 68931]

IGMP
- On the E320 router, you cannot limit the number of IGMP groups that a port can accept by using the multicast group port limit command. The private SNMP MIB for IGMP (rsIgmpMIB) does not support the slot/adapter/port interface specifier that is required by the E320 router. [Defect ID 61071]
- Line module reset with panic arg (0xfd70a3d8); file: osEvent.cc; task: scheduler. [Defect ID 76595]
IP
- Incorrect values returned when performing Routing Table OIDs via SNMP. [Defect ID 71917]
- Default route to null0 prevents an AccessInternal route from being installed. [Defect ID 75997]
- The router accepts TCP connections to the directed-broadcast address of a locally connected subnet. [Defect ID 76028]
- IGMP interface NVS and IGMP OIF-MAP NVS should cleanup stale IP UID entries on reload. [Defect ID 77028]

- When a large number of SDX managed subscribers log in to an E-series router in a very short period of time (as when the router is reloaded or its software is upgraded), any of the following consequences of the overloading might adversely affect a user's session: [Defect ID 74417]
- The interface does not get an output policy.
- The interface gets an empty input policy.
- The interface does not get a QoS profile.
- The interface gets an output policy with duplicate classifiers.
- Zero-reference policies and classifiers are not cleaned up.
- In certain configurations, SDX-managed subscribers experience lower-than-expected call setup rates. [Defect ID 74865\75672]
- SDX Client doesn't send to SAE the DHCP options. [Defect ID 76023]
