Routine Maintenance Procedures for the TX Matrix Plus Router

Many components require routine maintenance. Some components, such as the TXP-CIP and the craft interface, require no maintenance.

For optimum TX Matrix Plus router performance, perform the following preventive maintenance procedures regularly:

  • Inspect the installation site for moisture, loose wires or cables, and excessive dust. Make sure that airflow is unobstructed around the TX Matrix Plus router and into the air intake vents.
  • Verify that the router and all components are operating properly by looking at the status-reporting devices on the craft interface: system alarms, LEDs, and LCD.
  • Inspect the air filters at the front of the TX Matrix Plus router. Replace the air filters every 6 months. Do not run the TX Matrix Plus router for more than a few minutes without the air filters in place.
