Removing a JCS1200 Switch Module Filler Tray
Figure 1 shows how to remove and install a switch module filler tray.

To remove a switch module filler tray (see Figure 1):
- Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap
to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points
on the chassis.
- Remove the switch module or filler from
the switch module bay (see Removing a JCS1200 Switch Module or Module Filler).
- Pull the filler tray release handle to the open
position. The filler tray moves out of the bay approximately 0.25 in.
(0.6 cm).
- Slide the filler tray out of the bay.
Installing a JCS1200 Switch Module Filler Tray
To install a switch module filler tray:
- Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap
to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points
on the chassis.
- Remove the switch module filler and filler
tray, if one is installed (see Removing a JCS1200 Switch Module or Module Filler and Removing a JCS1200 Switch Module Filler Tray).
- Make sure that the release handle is in the open
position.
- Slide the switch module filler tray into the switch
module bay until it stops.
- Push the filler tray release handle to the closed
position.
- Install a switch module or filler (see Installing a JCS1200 Switch Module or Module Filler).
