Installing an MX480 Router Overview

To install the router:

  1. Prepare the installation site.

    See MX480 Site Preparation Checklist.

  2. Review the safety guidelines and warnings.

  3. Unpack the router and verify that all parts have been received.

  4. Install the mounting hardware.

  5. Install the router.

  6. Connect cables to external devices.

  7. Connect the grounding cable.

  8. Connect the power cables.

  9. Power on the router.
