Removing a JCS1200 MUX Card
Figure 1 shows how to
remove and install a multiplexer (MUX) card.

- Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap
to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points
on the chassis.
- Pull the release handle to the open position.
The MUX card moves out of the bay approximately 0.25 inch (0.6 cm).
- Slide the MUX card out of the bay.

Figure 2 shows how to
remove and install a multiplexer (MUX) card.

- Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap
to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points
on the chassis.
- Make sure that the release handle on the
MUX card is in the open position.
- Slide the MUX card into the bay until it stops.
- Push the release handle to the closed position.
