Figure 1 shows how to remove a media tray.

To remove a media tray (see Figure 1):

  1. Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
  2. Pull the media tray release handle to the open position. The media tray moves out of the bay approximately 0.25 in. (0.6 cm).
  3. Slide the media tray out of the bay.

To install a media tray (see Figure 2):

  1. Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
  2. Make sure that the media tray release lever is in the open position and the CompactFlash release buttons on the CompactFlash disk are pushed into the in position.

  3. Slide the media tray into position until it stops and locks into place.
  4. Rotate the media tray release lever to the closed position.
