Removing a JCS1200 Bezel

If the JCS1200 bezel option is installed on your platform, you must first remove the bezel to access any devices installed into the front of your JCS1200 platform.

Figure 1 shows how to remove a bezel.

To remove a bezel (see Figure 1):

  1. Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
  2. Hold the bezel and press the blue release button on each side of the bezel.
  3. Pull the bezel away from the JCS1200 platform.
  4. If you are instructed to return the bezel, follow all packaging instructions and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Figure 2 shows how to install a bezel.

Installing a JCS1200 Bezel

To install a bezel (see Figure 2):

  1. Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
  2. Holding the sides of the bezel, orient the bezel so the logo is at the top and right corner.
  3. Place the bottom edge of the bezel on the bezel retention tab.
  4. Rotate the top of the bezel toward the JCS1200 platform until the bezel clicks into place.
  5. Turn the quarter-turn bezel locks to the locked position.
