Front Panel of an XRE200 External Routing Engine

The front panel of an XRE200 External Routing Engine consists of the following components:

• Chassis LEDs—Power LED, Hard disk LED, and Hardware LED
• LCD panel
• Console port (labeled CON)
• Management (labeled (MGMT)
• USB port
• Virtual Chassis Ports (VCPs)—1 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet native VCP (0) and 4 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet ports on the Virtual Chassis Control Interface (VCCI) modules
• Gigabit Ethernet port LEDs—Link/Activity LED and SPD LED
• Hard Disk Drive (HDD) LEDs—Hard disk Activity LED and Hard disk Failure LED

Figure 1 shows the front panel of an XRE200 External Routing Engine with one VCCI module installed.
