T640 SONET Clock Generators (SCGs) LEDs

Three LEDs, located on the SCG faceplate, display the status of the SCG. Table 1 describes the functions of the SCG LEDs. Two LINK LEDs, located on the left of each RJ-48 port, display the status of the external clock inputs links. The other LEDs on the right of each port are not used.

Note: The external clock inputs on the SCG with DB-9 ports are not functional.

Figure 1 shows the LEDs on the SCG with RJ-48 ports.

Table 1 describes the functions of the SONET Clock Generator (SCG) LEDs. The LINK LED is not applicable to the SCG with DB-9 ports.
