Locating the JCS1200 Midplane Serial Number

The midplane serial number is not visible on the chassis. To view the serial number label, you must remove the components that attach to the midplane (see Removing Components from a JCS1200 Chassis).

To display the midplane serial number from the management module CLI, enter the info command.

The midplane serial number is located in the Component serial no. field as shown in the following sample output:
