Locating the JCS1200 Chassis Serial Number

The chassis serial number, machine type, and model number are on labels on the top, front, and rear of the chassis (see Figure 1).

Record information about your JCS1200 platform in Table 1. You will need this information for future reference.

To display the chassis serial number, enter the info -T system command from the management module CLI.

The chassis serial number is located in the Manufacturer field as shown in the following sample output:
