TX Matrix Plus Power Distribution

Most sites distribute DC power through a main conduit that leads to frame-mounted DC power distribution panels, one of which might be located at the top of the rack that houses the TX Matrix Plus router. A pair of cables (one input and one return) connects each set of terminal studs to the power distribution panel.

Figure 1 shows a typical DC source cabling arrangement.

Note: All inputs on the DC power supply in slot PEM0 must be powered by dedicated power feeds derived from feed A, and all inputs on the DC power supply in slot PEM1 must be powered by dedicated power feeds derived from feed B. This configuration provides the commonly deployed A/B feed redundancy for the system.

Warning: For field-wiring connections, use copper conductors only.
