M7i DC Power Supply

A DC-powered router has one or two load-sharing DC power supplies, located at the bottom rear of the chassis, as shown in M7i Chassis Description. For information about power supply redundancy and replaceability, see M7i Power System Description.

Figure 1 shows the power supply.

Note: The DC power supplies are marked –48 VDC. This is the nominal voltage associated with the battery circuit. Any higher voltages are associated only with float voltages for the charging function.
