Control Plane Connections from the TX Matrix Plus Router to the T1600 Routers

Figure 1 shows the control plane connections between the TX Matrix Plus router and four T1600 routers.

Control Plane Connections

UTP Category 5 Ethernet cables provide the control plane connections between the RJ-45 LCC CTRL PLANE ports 0 through 3 on the TXP-CIPs in the TX Matrix Plus router and the SFC 0 port on the LCC-CBs in the T1600 routers. The maximum length supported is 100 m. The UTP Category 5 cables do not have to be the same length. The cable wiring is straight-through (not crossover).

Table 1 shows these connections.

The cable connections provided in Table 1 apply to routing matrix configurations using from one through four T1600 routers.
