Removing a Secure Access Device from NSM Management (NSM Procedure)
Deleting a device removes all device configuration information from the management system, but might be the best solution if you need to perform extensive troubleshooting or reconfigure the device locally.
To remove a Secure Access device from NSM Management:
- In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager> Devices.
- Click the Device Tree tab.
- From the device tree, select the Secure Access device that you would like to remove from NSM Management.
- Right-click and select Delete, or click the Delete button. The Delete dialog box appears. If the device is referenced in a firewall rule, this dialog box displays the rules that reference it. You can click the links that appear to display the Security Policies, and to view or edit those references.
- Click Next to remove the device. The Delete dialog box displays the progress of the deletion.
- When Network and Security Manager finishes, click Finish to close the dialog box.
