Configuring CoS Routing Instances (NSM Procedure)
You can apply a custom MPLS EXP classifier to the routing
instance with VPN routing and forwarding (VRF) table labels enabled
using this option. The default MPLS EXP classifier or one that is
previously defined can be applied for routing instance.
To configure Class-of-Service routing instances
in NSM:
- In the NSM navigation tree, select Device Manager > Devices.
- Click the Device Tree tab,
and then double-click the device to select it.
- Click the Configuration tab.
In the configuration tree, expand Class of Service.
- Select Routing Instances.
- Add or modify settings as specified in Table 1.
- Click one:
- OK—Saves the changes.
- Cancel—Cancels the modifications.

- In the Name box, enter the name of
the routing instance.

- In the Comment box, enter the comment.
- From the Classifier name list, select
the classifier name.
- Click Dscp Ipv6 next to Classifiers.
- In the Comment box, enter the comment.
- From the Classifier name list, select
the classifier name.
- Click Exp next to Classifiers.
- From the Classifier Name list, select
the classifier name.
- Click Ieee 802.1 next to Classifiers.
- In the Comment box, enter the comment.
- From the Classifier name list, select
the classifier name.
- From the Vlan tag list, select the
VLAN tag.

Specify a rewrite-rules mapping
for the traffic that passes through all queues on the interface.

- Click Rewrite Rules next to routing-instances.
- In the Comment box, enter the comment.
- Click Ieee 802.1 next to Rewrite
Rules.
- Select one of the following:
- Ieee–802.1d—To apply
an IEEE-802.1 rewrite rule
- Ieee–802.1ad—To apply
an IEEE-802.1ad rewrite rule
- In the Comment box, enter the comment.
- From the Rewrite Rule Name list,
select the name of a rewrite-rules mapping.
- From the Vlan tag list, select the
VLAN tag.
