Device States Displayed in Job Manager During Update
During an update, the
managed device changes device state. You can view the current device
state in real time in the State Description field of the Job Information
dialog box. Table 1 lists the states that a
device can have.

Loading in Progress
|
NSM is sending the update image to the flash memory of
the device.

Pending
|
Device is accepting the parameters from the update configuration
that has been sent to the device flash memory.

Converting Data Model to Device Data Model
|
The parameters that have been set in the NSM configuration
are being changed to corresponding device-specific CLI commands that
execute on the device.
|
Successful Completion
|
Device has successfully been updated with the modeled
configuration.
|
Failed
|
Device has not been successfully updated with the modeled
configuration. The Job Information dialog box displays
error messages and error codes.
