Redundant power supplies, host modules, host subsystems,

Additional link-layer redundancy, including Automatic
Protection Switching (APS) for SONET interfaces, Multiplex Section

Redirection of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) label-switched
path (LSP) traffic—Mechanisms such as link protection, node-link
protection, and fast reroute recognize link and node failures, allowing
MPLS LSPs to select a bypass LSP to circumvent failed links or devices.
