Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX-series switches.

Description

For Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), or Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), configure the link mode to identify point-to-point links.

Default

For a full-duplex link, the default link mode is point-to-point. For a half-duplex link, the default link mode is shared.
