Release Information
Command introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX-series switches.
Description
Make a previously used member ID available for reassignment.
When you remove a member switch from the virtual chassis, the master reserves that member ID. To make the member ID available for reassignment, you must use this command.
Options
member-id member-id — Specify the member id that you want to make available for reassignment to a different member switch.
