BGP System Log Messages

This chapter describes messages with the BGP prefix. They are generated by the Border Gateway Routing Protocol.

BGP_PREFIX_THRESH_EXCEEDED

System Log Message

peer-name: Configured maximum prefix-limit threshold(percentage-value) exceeded for nlri-type nlri: prefix-count (instance instance)

Description

The number of prefixes received on the BGP session exceeds the specified percentage of the configured maximum limit.

Event: This message reports an event, not an error

BGP_PREFIX_ACPT_THRESH_EXCEEDED

System Log Message

peer-name: Configured maximum accepted prefix-limit threshold(percentage-value) exceeded for nlri-type nlri: prefix-count (instance instance)

Description

The number of prefixes accepted on the the BGP session exceeds the specified percentage of the configured maximum limit.
