Release Information

Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 7.4.

Support at the [edit interfaces interface-name ppp-options] hierarchy level added in Junos OS Release 8.3.

Description

For LSQ PICs or link PICs in redundant LSQ configurations, you can inhibit the router from sending PPP termination-request messages to the remote host if the PIC fails.

Required Privilege Level
