Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.3.

Application to the Multiservices PIC added in Junos OS Release 9.5.

Application to the Trio MPC/MIC interfaces added in Junos OS Release 10.1.

Description

For an Enhanced IQ PIC, Multiservices PIC, or MX Series routers with MPC/MIC interface, and T4000 routers with Type 5 FPCs, determine the percentage or proportion of excess bandwidth traffic to share.

Note: The option proportion provides a greater range of values over the option percentage and hence influences the priorities assigned to the queues.

Options

percentage—Percentage of the excess bandwidth to share.

Range: 0 through 100 percent

value—Proportion of the excess bandwidth to share. Option available at the [edit class-of-service traffic-class-profiles traffic-control-profile-name] hierarchy level only.

Range: 0 through 1000

proportion—Proportion of the excess bandwidth to share.

Range: 0 through 1000
