The QFabric software package contains software for the QFabric switch infrastructure and for all of the different component devices in the QFabric switch: Director group, Interconnect devices, and Node devices.
The request system software download CLI command enables you to download the software package to various locations: for example, USB device, remote server, or FTP site.
The following CLI commands enable you to install the software for the Director group, Interconnect devices, Node devices, and the QFabric switch infrastructure. You may need to specify the reboot option depending on which devices or QFabric infrastructure you are installing software. The reboot option works differently depending on whether you install the software on the QFabric switch infrastructure or on a particular device in the QFabric switch.
